ATTORNEY GENERAL TROY KING
WINS BY A LANDSLIDE

On Tuesday, November 7, 2006 my friend, Attorney General Troy King was elected by more than a 111, 703-vote margin, which is a landslide victory! The final vote count was 669,840 for Attorney General Troy King and 558,136 for his challenger, Mobile District Attorney, John Tyson. I was very pleased with the results because I am a huge Troy King supporter. If I didn’t know better I would believe that he hung the stars and the moon!

On Monday, March 8, 2004 Governor Bob Riley appointed Troy as Attorney General. I recall gathering in the old House Chambers in the State Capitol to witness the swearing in ceremony. It was a great day for the State of Alabama. Troy pledged that in his new role as legal advisor to all the people of Alabama, “Our watchword must be fidelity: fidelity to the law, fidelity to those we serve.” In the two years that he has served as our state’s top cop he has proven that he is the man for the job. The voters showed their appreciation for the superb job that he has done and elected him for four more years.

Attorney General Troy King is a fine example of what Alabama can produce. I strongly suggest you support him as he leads Alabama into the future. It will not be long before Attorney General Troy King becomes Governor King as many others and I have predicted over and over again.

General King is married to the former Paige Pinson of Montgomery, Alabama. He is the proud father of one son, Briggs, who was born on August 19, 1997, daughter, Colden, who was born on August 1, 2000, and daughter Asher, who was born on February 24, 2003. General King was born on August 22, 1968, in Elba, Alabama. General King’s official website: www.ago.state.al.us
