Dear Friends: 

Just a brief note to inform you about the passing of my mother, Alger J. Griffin. My mother, a forty-five year cancer survivor died on Monday, April 30^th, 2007 at 6:02 p.m. at the age of 74. We will celebrate her wonderful life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Community Congregational United Church of Christ located at 3481 South Court Street in Montgomery, Alabama. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2007 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at E.G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. located at 1120 Bragg Street in Montgomery, Alabama. (Tele) 334-265-9221 or –9222. 

I want to thank all of you who prayed for her recovery during the last two months that she was in the intensive care unit on life support.
