Griffin Speaks THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE WORLD
Webster’s
New Collegiate Dictionary defines important:
marked by or indicative of significant worth or consequence. I gave it much
thought and began to realize that in any given day 99.9% of the people a
person encounters during the day could care less if they ever saw them
again. Your existence meant little or nothing to their existence therefore
you were not important to them. They simply do not care about you. Amazingly
we wait in long lines for extraordinary periods of time to meet people whom
we deem to be important. People, who ordinarily do not know us, don’t care
about us and wouldn’t pee on us if we were on fire in the middle of the
street. We are nicer and more respectful to people we consider to be
important. So who do I consider to be the most important person in the
world? The
most important person in the world has got to be your self! There is no
individual more significant to you than you. So when you get up in the
morning feel great as you look in the mirror and acknowledge that you are
the most important person in the world. The person staring back at you in
the mirror will be with you through thick and thin. He or she will follow
you to the grave and throughout eternity. Once
you accept the fact that you are the most important person in the world you
will begin to treat your self as such. You will not allow other people to
mistreat you. You will examine your relationships and those that do not
stand the muster you will kick to the curb. You are somebody! You are the
most important person in the world! Greg
