You are not going to believe this, but I was invited to Thomas, Means, Gillis & Seay, P.C. and Medical Place Christmas Party. It was fabulous! It was wonderful! It was out of this world! Speaking of out of this world, I saw people at the party who I thought had been dead for years. It seemed as though I was constantly being startled by seeing someone who I thought had died years ago.  

The hosts were wonderful! The guests were delightful. The food was out of this world! I ate myself sick. The shrimp were so big and juicy. People were eating like they were eating their last meal. The music was great. The museum was a great place to have the party. Perhaps now that I am on the guest list I can persuade them to host the next one at the Capital City Club.  

When my beautiful wife Debra and I arrived at the party, cars were everywhere. I thought for a moment that we might have to park at the theater and walk down to the museum, but fortunately some people were leaving as we arrived. We had just left Attorney General Troy King’s Christmas Party at the Capital City Club. It was also nice. 

I ran into the drop dead gorgeous Cubie Rae Gilmer and learned that she was responsible for my invitation. She read my article where I bemoaned having never been invited to a Thomas, Means, Gillis & Seay, P.C. and Medical Place Christmas Party. I am now whole! There were close to two thousand people who passed through the party. Some of the most memorable were: Dr. Jefferson Underwood II and Dr. Jefferson Underwood III, both were with their beautiful wives, Judge Tori Adams and her movie star looking fiancée, Simon Holloway, Joe and Gilda Williams, Judge Shashy, Judge Reese Mckinney and his beautiful wife.; Rev. Al Dixon and his beautiful wife, Mrs. Al Dixon, Karen L. Mastin and her movie star looking husband.; Rudy Thomas, Claude Douglas, Bart and Cherry Prince, Charlie King, Essie Buskey, Janet Buskey, Dr. Joe L. Reed, Steven Reed and his beautiful new wife.; Ed Stevens, Rochelle Baker, Dr. Katrice L.Thomas, Tommy Miller, Sidney T. Williams, Judge Anita Kelley, J.R. and Monet Gaines, Dr. Roosevelt McCorvey, Mike Washington,  Joyce Thomas, and many many more. 

All things must end. The party of the year ended. Debra and I walked out with Joyce Thomas. Joyce was as gorgeous as ever. She was wearing a red mini skirt that I believe she wore in high school. I told Debra that it looked like Joyce had stood on top of the RSA Tower and had someone stand on the ground holding the dress while she jumped into it. Truth be told she looked great in it!  She had Debra and me on the ground laughing at every comment she made. Fun was had by all. I will see if I am invited to the next grand affair. We had a ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
