Griffin Speaks HOW TO FIND A SUMMER JOB
You must first decide
what type summer job you want. What hours do you want to work? How much do
you want to make? Where do you want the job to be located? During this tough
time, it may be very difficult to find a summer job that will satisfy all of
your criteria. Just try to find one that satisfies most of your criteria. Secondly, you must look
in the mirror and ask yourself what do you have to offer an employer? What
are your skills? What experience do you have to offer? Third, you will need a
resume. Find someone who can assist you in preparing a professional looking
resume. If you are located in Montgomery, Alabama, you should contact one of
the local colleges and ask if there is someone available to assist you free
of charge. Let everyone know that
you are looking for a job. Ask if they have contacts that may help you to
land a summer job. You must use your network. If you listen to me, you will
land a wonderful summer job. There are several multi-millionaires in
Montgomery, Alabama. These multi-millionaires are nice people and would
probably help you if you call them and ask. If you are a motivated
teen, if you are willing to get to work on time and can get along well with
others, you should have no problem with your job search. Good Luck! In the words of my dad, “You must honor the chair whether it is sitting, walking or lying down.” Greg Griffin is a free lance writer.
