Griffin Speaks LOWES OF WETUMPKA
Last year on June 10, 2008 at 6a.m, Lowe’s of Wetumpka, Alabama opened its doors to the public. The new store in Wetumpka, Alabama has taken the community by storm. The home improvement store has 94,000 square feet of immaculately clean retail space, with an adjacent garden center, stocking 32,000 different items to help customers build, improve and beautify their homes. According to community sources a store of this size represents an average investment in Wetumpka, Alabama of approximately $12 million and created up to 120 new jobs. In fiscal year 2007 the Lowe’s Companies, Inc. with headquarters in Mooresville, N.C., had sales of $48.3 billion. The retailer serves approximately 14 million customers a week. Founded in 1946 Lowes is the second-largest home improvement retailer in the world. Everybody seems to be talking about the customer service they receive when they visit the Wetumpka, Alabama store. I recently patronized the store and was greeted at the front door by a female employee who looked like a Brad Pitt leading lady who had a smile on her face as wide as the Mississippi River. Every employee acted as though they were thrilled that I had decided to shop there. I later asked around the community to see if other customers at Lowes of Wetumpka were having similar experiences. The majority of people I spoke with had the following things to say: 1.) When you call the store you can talk to a live human being. 2.) Promises are always fulfilled. 3.) Management will listen to and try to fix any problem. 4.) Complaints are dealt with in a timely manner. 5.) Employees
seek the customer out to offer assistance. 6.) Employees are consistently
courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. 7.) Employees will go the extra step
in making sure that your experience at the store is one that will make you
want to return. Because of comments like these Lowe’s of Wetumpka store is
known for its excellent customer service. I went away happy so happy I
passed this positive feedback about the business along to many others.
