THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN
The best-kept secret in Montgomery, Alabama is also the best deal in town. It is THE DOLLAR TREE. My family and friends all know how conservative I am with most of my money. There are some things that I will splurge on, but not very many. Truth be told I squeak when I walk. I drive old cars and sometimes shop for bargain suits at Thrift stores. However, I went to top of the line JoS.A. Bank clothing store the other day and purchased two thousand dollars worth of clothes, but they will last me a very long time. Many times for me it is all about the hunt for a deal.
There are several Dollar Tree stores in Montgomery, Alabama. My favorite is located in the Midtown Shopping Center near Wal-Mart. Shopping there is loads of fun. I find something new every week. Everything in the store is a dollar or less. My entire family hunts for deals at the Dollar Tree. I go weekly and I love it! The Managers and employees are all super.
Since I have been a regular at the Dollar Tree I have seen several of Montgomery elite both Black and White shopping at the stores. I have seen members of the professional crowd, politicians, and several millionaires. Many of the millionaires I run into at the Dollar Tree I also run into at Sams and Costco eating the free samples. We almost knock each other down trying to get to the free samples.
When I go to restaurants I almost always order water with lemon. The cost of the drinks makes me sick. My kids will order the expensive drinks while me the one paying for the meal drink water. There is something wrong with that picture. When I go to Church’s Chicken I always look for the coupon laying on the counter that someone has thrown away. The point I am making is I know where the deals are.
Dollar Tree is very customer oriented. They are honest merchants and I have never had a problem with any of their products. My research of the company reveals that their Corporate Values are: “Attitude is everything, and often contagious, which is why we strive to keep a positive attitude in every situation. Whether we are serving our customers or working with fellow associates, we are courteous, act responsibly, and carry ourselves with integrity.” “Judgment: Do the right thing for the right reason. What is best for our customers and what is best for our company and associates are guiding principles in every business decision we make.” Commitment: Honor and respect for self and company. From customer to coworker, Dollar Tree associates treat everyone with whom we interact with dignity and respect that they deserve.”
The Dollar Tree Stores in Montgomery, Alabama are ranked with Four Stars as the Best Deal in Town!
