Hampton, Massachusetts, founded 1871. Smith’s total student enrollment is
2750; Wellesley
College, Wellesley,
Ma, founded 1870. Wellesley’s total student enrollment is 2400; Mt. Holyoke College, South Hadley, Ma, founded 1837; Mt. Holyoke’s
total student enrollment is 2,100; Vassar
College, Poughkeepsie, New York, founded 1861. Vassar’s total student
enrollment is 2400 male and female students; (Vassar has become a co-ed
college); Radcliffe College, Cambridge,
Ma, founded 1879. Radcliffe merged with Harvard University in 1999 and is
now officially known as Radcliffe Institute for advanced study; Bryn
Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, founded 1885. Bryn Mawr has a
total student enrollment of 1,781 and Barnard
College, New York, New York. Barnard was founded in 1889. Barnard has a
total student enrollment of 2,297. Fortunately
for women, they have more opportunities for an Ivy League education because
of these sister schools. I encourage all women who desire to attend the
original male Ivies to also apply to the female Ivies. Your chances for a
