THE LAST DAYS

I don’t know about you guys, but I am beginning to feel a little nervous. Are we living in the last days? Are we seeing the signs of the times? Paul told us that in the last days “there will be terrible times”. Turn on your television and terrible times are exactly what we see. Businesses are failing, crime is on the rise, and natural disasters are everywhere. It is all coming to a head. How far away is World War III?

We are gripped by the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression and some experts believe that we are headed to Armageddon. I could name numerous things that are occurring today that indicate that the end is near. I use to listen to people claiming that the end was near and laugh at them. Today I see things differently. Today we have respected experts in every field issuing grave warnings about the present world events every time you turn on the television.

My advice to those who care to listen, stay prayerful and repent from your wicked ways. I seriously believe that there is a strong possibility that we may live to see the return of Jesus. “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars,” Jesus said, “but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come” (Matt. 24:6). After Christ describes the imminent end in Luke 21, he goes on to say, “And then they shall see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” (verse 27).

When I turned fifty years old I had an epiphany. I could actually see myself living long enough to see another world. I immediately examined my life and removed anything that I believed would not please God. Is Christ about to return to this Earth to establish the Kingdom of God? Are you ready? Our destiny may very well be as no generation before us, to live in two worlds. I say unto you today whatever you are presently doing in your life that is not pleasing to God, stop it immediately. Time may very well be running out!!! And the Church said, AMEN!!!!!!!!!

In the words of my dad, You must honor the chair whether it is sitting, walking or lying down.”
