THE MAGIC OF GIVING

I firmly believe that when you give to others you give to yourself. We are all one. I have yet to give where I did not receive and yes, it is better to give than to receive. Give until it hurts. I love Christmas because so many people are open to experience the joy of giving to others.

If you give from the heart, you will experience an unbelievable “high”. Oprah Wynfrey is a good example of a person who loves to give. There are some well-publicized gifts, but my sources tell me she gives even more anonymously. To give anonymously is even a better.

People who give experience more happiness. The joy of giving is embedded in our being. The more you give the more you will receive.  Instead of giving money, you can give your time. The effect will be the same.

The preacher has been promoting giving for ages. Be a joyful giver and be open to receiving. I have a very wealthy friend that gives freely, but has a difficult time accepting gifts. Do not add conditions on your gift. Release the gift totally.

I am going into my closet and give away half of everything inside of it. I suggest you do the same. Clean it out and by the end of the year it will be overflowing again. Try it!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

In the words of my dad, You must honor the chair whether it is sitting, walking or lying down.”
