WELLESLEY COLLEGE WINS THE COIN TOSS

As many of you know my daughter Alexis the bonafide genius has been accepted to eleven elite colleges and universities. She has finally decided to accept an offer of admission from the number one women’s college in America: Wellesley College located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Some of the notable alumnae from Wellesley are Hilary Rodham Clinton’69 and Madeleine Albright’59. There are 36,966 living alumnae. Alexis will major in Per Med with a concentration in Chemistry. She plans to enter a MD/PHD program at a top tier medical school upon graduating from Wellesley in 2015.

Wellesley College is located 12 miles outside Boston, Massachusetts. The college has full cross registration with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). There is also the possibility to take some classes at Harvard University. Debra and I are thrilled that this opportunity has presented itself for Alexis.

The mission of Wellesley College is to provide an excellent liberal arts education for women who will make a difference in the world. There are 2300 women enrolled at Wellesley. The yearly cost is approximately $55,000. Nannerl Overholser Keohane served as President of the college from 1981-1993 until she left to become the first woman President of Duke University. The current President is H. Kim Bottomly. For more information about Wellesley College visit the Internet and google Wellesley College.
