Griffin Speaks WELLESLEY
COLLEGE WINS THE COIN TOSS
Wellesley College is located 12 miles outside Boston,
Massachusetts. The college has full cross registration with MIT
(Massachusetts Institute of Technology). There is also the possibility
to take some classes at Harvard University. Debra
and I are thrilled that this opportunity has presented itself for Alexis. The mission of Wellesley College is to provide an excellent
liberal arts education for women who will make a difference in the world.
There are 2300 women enrolled at Wellesley. The yearly cost is approximately
$55,000. Nannerl Overholser Keohane served as President of the college from
1981-1993 until she left to become the first woman President of Duke
University. The current President is H. Kim Bottomly. For more information
about Wellesley College visit the Internet and google Wellesley College.
