Photo of Stuart and Lucretia James, my great-great grandparents taken on their wedding day in the 1800’s. They had 7 boys and 7 girls. My great grandfather Milton James was their son. Staurt and Lucretia James were wealthy North Carolina mulatto landowners who were descendants from the “Lost Colony”. They resided in Jamesville , North Carolina “Piney Woods” until their deaths.
